Stereo Logarithmic Potentiometer Vertical 6.3mm 0.25 Inch Round Shaft A VR63ST

This is one item of new, double gang, logarithmic carbon track potentiometer in various resistance values.

These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting on a front panel. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The connection pins have a ninety degree bend in them for PCB mounting with the base of the pot sitting flat on the board and the shaft pointing upwards. The pins protrude 5mm downwards from the base of the pot. The "A" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a logarithmic track taper. The maximum power rating is 0.1W. The manufacturer is Alpha Taiwan. The track tolerance is +/-20%.

The shaft length on all resistance values of these pots is a total of 15mm, where the threaded part is 6mm long and the turning part is 9mm. The round shaft diameter is 6.35mm or one quarter inch.

If you have a pot with a track label of A253, this is an A25K where 3 is the number of zeros after 25 in Ohms. A 502 would be 5K, a 472 would be 4K7 etc. Sometimes pots may also be labelled with the A as a suffix i.e. 25KA.
