This is one item of used +/- 10V D.C. full scale deflection meter. The needle zeroes correctly using the adjustment screw at the rear. I have tested it for full-scale reading at 10V as shown in the video recording, with the series resistor network shown in the pictures soldered to the terminals. The internal resistance of the meter is 34 Ohms making it a native +/-500uA milliammeter. The external resistors must be used when connecting to a voltage source. The actual item is shown. The total width is 75mm and the height is 34mm. The panel cut-out required is approximately 68mm by 31mm, and a mounting spring clip is provided. This instrument is dated on the scale as 1962.
I call these "side-winking" meters, and I like them for clarity of read-out, and compact use of front panel space.
