This is one item of 100uA full scale deflection microammeter with a scale that reads 0 to 10A. The needle zeroes correctly and I have tested it for accurate reading at 100uA using a 10V source and a 100K resistor. The coil resistance is 324 Ohms. There is a tiny crack on one edge of the transparency. The actual item is shown. The width is 72mm and the height is 53mm. The panel circular cut-out required is 53mm diameter.
You could use a 9V battery and normal skin resistance to move the needle, and it will certainly read the current generated by potato batteries, very small solar cells, photodiodes and phototransistors etc.
