PPM Peak Program Audio Level Meter 1mA by Sifam England

This is one item of used 1mA FSD PPM meter by Sifam England, much beloved of European and British manufacturers of mixing desks and tape machines for their technical accuracy when dealing with recording or broadcast level monitoring. The front panel is approximately 86mm X 70mm. The FSD is 1mA and the coil resistance is 600 Ohm. The needle zeros correctly using the adjustment on the rear.  You can see this being tested at 1mA D.C. in the video which shows the super-quick but well damped ballistic response typical of Peak Programme Level meters.  

You will need a PPM drive circuit board if you want to use this to monitor audio levels. There are very slight marks on the front. The marking on the dial says 32AF, the model number on the back states M2596B/1-0006.
