Linear Potentiometer 6.3mm 0.25 Inch Round Shaft Solder Lug 16mm B RSL63

This is one item of single gang, linear, carbon track potentiometer.

These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting on a front panel. The round shaft is 6.3mm true quarter inch diameter. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The connection pins are solder lugs. The "B" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a linear track taper. The max power rating is 0.2W. The track tolerance is 20%. The manufacturer is Alpha Taiwan.

The shaft length on all resistance values of these pots is a total of 15mm, where the threaded part is 6mm long and the turning part is 9mm. This makes them particularly useful for mounting directly onto a fairly thin front panel where you might otherwise have to saw off some of the shaft to avoid the knob sticking out too far.

If you have a pot with a track label of B253, this is a B25K where 3 is the number of zeros after 50 in Ohms. A 502 would be 5K, a 472 would be 4K7 etc. Sometimes pots may also be labelled with the B as a suffix i.e. 25KB.
