Vertical Potentiometer PCB Long Pin Splined Shaft 16mm Linear B VT18L

This is one item of new, single gang, linear track, 16mm body carbon track potentiometer in various resistance values.

These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting on a front panel. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The connection pins have a ninety degree bend in them for PCB mounting, and extra long pins. The pins protrude 13mm downwards from the base of the pot.

The total shaft length is 17mm, where the turning part is 11mm and the threaded part is 6mm. The "B" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a linear track taper. The max power rating is 0.2W. The manufacturer is Alpha Taiwan.

If you have a pot with a track label of B503, this is a B50K where 3 is the number of zeros after 50 in Ohms. A 502 would be 5K, a 472 would be 4K7 etc. Sometimes pots may also be labelled with the B as a suffix i.e. 50KB.
