This is one item of single gang mono, linear, carbon track potentiometer. These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting on a front panel. The splined shaft is 6mm diameter. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The connection pins will allow either PCB mounting or soldered wire connections. The "B" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a linear track taper. The max power rating of the resistive track is 0.2W. The two switch contacts at the rear close when the shaft is rotated away from the fully anticlockwise position. The switch is rated 1A at 12V.
The fixed threaded part of the shaft is 6mm long. The turning part of the shaft is either 13mm or 18mm long depending on the particular track resistance variation. The correct shaft length is shown in the variation pictures.
The 50K version of this is a suitable replacement for the electrical glove heater control on certain motorcycles.
The 10K version is used as the speed control in some imported golf trollies.
If you have a pot with a track label of B503, this is a B50K where 3 is the number of zeros after 50 in Ohms. A 502 would be 5K, a 472 would be 4K7 etc.
