Moving Coil Meter 1mA F.S.D. with 0 to 10kV Scale 105mm Diameter Circular

This is one item of 1mA full scale deflection milliammeter with a scale that reads 0 to 10kV.  It was made by Ferranti.  This would normally be part of equipment where a suitable series resistor was used to take off a tap from a lower voltage part of an E.H.T. generating system, i.e. you will Not be able to read 10kV supplies with any 10 Watt 10 MegOhm series resistor, which would be a non-existant part.  The needle zeroes correctly and I have tested it for accurate reading at 1mA.  The coil resistance is as shown on the scale, 100 Ohms.
