Logarithmic Potentiometer Control Vertical PCB Mount 6.3mm Round Shaft A VR63

This is one item of single gang, logarithmic taper, carbon track potentiometer.

These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting on a front panel. The round shaft is 6.3mm 0.25" diameter. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The total shaft length is 15mm where 9mm of this is the turning part and 6mm is the threaded part. The connection pins are intended for PCB mounting with the pot standing vertically up from the board. The "A" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a logarithmic audio track taper intended for use in such things as volume controls. The maximum power rating is 0.1W. The track resistance tolerance is 20%. The overall body diameter is 17mm.

If you have a pot with a track label of A104, this is an A100K where 4 is the number of zeros after 10 in Ohms. A 102 would be 1K, a 472 would be 4K7 etc. Sometimes pots may also be labelled with the A as a suffix e.g. 100KA.
