Audio Volume Potentiometer Vertical PCB Splined Shaft 16mm Logarithmic A VT18

This is one item of new, single gang, log audio, carbon track potentiometer in various resistance values. 

These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting to a front panel. The splined standard T18 shaft is 6mm diameter. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The connection pins have a ninety degree bend in them for PCB mounting with the base of the pot sitting flat on the board and the shaft pointing upwards. The pins protrude 7.5mm downwards from the base of the pot. The 90 degree bend in the pins is 16mm from the shaft centre. The "A" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a log audio track taper. The max power rating is 0.1W. The manufacturer is Alpha Taiwan.

The shaft length on all resistance values of these pots is a total of 16mm, where the threaded part is 6mm long and the turning part is 10mm. I have many other types of 16mm pots in the shop.

If you have a pot with a track label of A253, this is an A25K where 3 is the number of zeros after 25 in Ohms. A 502 would be 5K, a 472 would be 4K7 etc. Sometimes pots may also be labelled with the A as a suffix i.e. 25KA.
