11 Detent Potentiometer 6mm D-Shaft Linear Pot Multiple Click B10K 10K, Solder Lug B 11DET

This is one item of new, 17mm body diameter linear track pot which has 11 distinct clicks around the travel. The shaft is a standard 6.0mm flatted D type. The turning part of the shaft is 9mm long, 7mm of this is flatted. The threaded section is 6mm long. The rotation angle is 300 degrees. Currently this is only available in a linear B taper track. Knobs with 0 to 10 markings spread around the circumference at 30 degree angles will match up with the detents, and I have some of those on another listing in the shop. Thay can be very useful on analogue synthesisers where you might choose to use the detent positions to record the properties of a particular sound patch with more accuracy than would otherwise be possible.

The pot is shown in all of the pictures with the wiper in the centre of the track position, so the flat on the shaft follows the wiper. This is slightly unusual and may be relevant to the knobs that you are using if they have a pointer mark. The track is conductive plastic. The pins are the solder-lug type. A mounting nut and washer are provided. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The track is +/- 20% tolerance with a power rating of 0.2W. The manufacturer is BI, Bourns International.
