The connection pins are intended for PCB mounting with the pot standing vertically up from the board.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe \"W\" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a special equaliser track taper intended for use in such things as frequency banded audio equaliser controls and analogue filters. The pot would typically be set in the middle for 0dB and be labelled in linear fashion for dB lift and cut on either side; The track has maximum resistance change around the middle of the travel and less at either end. There is no center click.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe maximum power rating is 0.1W. The track resistance tolerance is 20%.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIf you have a pot with a track label of W502, this is a W5K where 2 is the number of zeros after 50 in Ohms.
